How to Install WAC Files for DFBHD

This guide shows you how to download the WAC files, copy them into your Delta Force: Black Hawk Down folder, create a desktop shortcut, and add /d to the shortcut target line.

1 Download the WAC Files

1. Open the WAC download page.
2. Click the Download button for each WAC file.
3. Save them to your computer (for example, your Downloads folder).

2 Copy the WAC Files into the DFBHD Game Folder

Place the WAC files into your main DFBHD installation folder:

C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\DFBHD
C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaLogic\DFBHD

3. Copy your downloaded .wac files.
4. Paste them into the same folder as DFBHD.exe.

3 Create a Desktop Shortcut

1. Right-click DFBHD.exe.
2. Select Send to → Desktop (create shortcut).

4 Edit the Shortcut Target Line and Add /d

Your Target line will look something like:

"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\DFBHD\DFBHD.exe"

Click at the end of that line (after the final quote), make one space, then type /d.

It should now look like this:

"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\DFBHD\DFBHD.exe" /d

3. Click Apply.
4. Click OK.

5 Launch the Game

Double-click the edited shortcut. The game will launch with the WAC files enabled.
