Title: Frontline Warrior
Creator: DukesterM (DukesterM@comcast.net)
Creation Date: 4/3/03
Game Type: Singleplayer

Briefing: The Somalian Army has sent a large infantry and armored division to regain their recently lost communications base. If any of them crosses your line of defense, General Rossi will be evacuated via helicopter, but you will have failed your mission.

Recommended Weapon Choices: Any machine gun or automatic rifle (grenade launcher preferred.)

Please Note: This mission will be easy for some but hard for others, depending on your experiance with the game. Please refer to my hints below for some helpful tips.

Hints:
1) The mission involves killing huge ammounts of enemies at long and short distances. Thus, a rifle with a scope and automatic fire should do nicely.
2) Technicals are not mandatory to destroy, only the machine gunners on top of them.
3) As soon as one of the enemy minions crosses the defense line (yes, just one) General Rossi's helicopter will take off and the mission will end in failur. Take this into consideration when prioritizing your targets.
4) The last of the enemy that will need to be killed are normally the RPG soldiers, since they have a nasty habit of hiding deep in the battlefield and then blowing up your buddies five at a time. Every one of the enemies can be killed from the defense line (I have made sure of this) but it might be easier for some of you to charge the desert and take them on one-on-one.
5) If you run low on ammo, their are ammo packs located along the defense line. Nothing ruins your day more than running out of ammo with five charging Somalians inches away.
6) You are not confined to your start location. Infact, there are several gaps in the defense line where you can take position.

NOTE: As fun as this mission is to play, it can also be extremely entertaining to hide somewhere safe (say, the trench behind your starting point) and then, via 3rd person view, zoom all the way out so you can have a full view of the battlefield. Both sides will fight valiently and create what seems to be a scene from a war movie.
